Understand Reselling

Shop101 is a leading reselling app that helps create micro entrepreneurs across the country. Anyone can easily start their own business by selling products online using Whatsapp and Facebook. We are trusted by more than 90 Lakh Resellers to help generate a meaningful income working from home.

Shop101 allows resellers to start their own business from the comfort of their own homes with ZERO investment and no added or hidden costs. With lakhs of products at their disposal, resellers can easily share high-quality products within their network and earn margins that they themselves set. Shop101 ties with high-quality, low-cost suppliers to provide our resellers with opportunities to earn easily from anywhere and anytime.

Here are a few tips that you can help to get your first order:

Tip 1 - Start with Family & Friends - Family and friends are a great way to start your reselling journey. Ask them to purchase products, provide you with photos and reviews of the products. You can use this to create trust in your products.

Tip 2 - Use Facebook Marketplace - While family and friends are a great place to start, you can also take the help of Facebook Marketplace. This is a great place to resell if you don’t have a large network of family and friends. Simply upload your products on Facebook Marketplace and start selling to people everywhere.

Tip 3 - Share Catalogs with more than 4* - Our catalogs have ratings. Sharing catalogs with a 4* or more rating will ensure that your customers get the best quality products at the best price. So, make sure to share products from these catalogs.

The basic rules for GST apply with Shop101 as well. If your annual turnover is more than ₹40 lakhs in most states or ₹20 lakhs in special category states (Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Puducherry, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura and Uttarakhand) then you are required to register for GST.

If this does not apply to you, then you do not need to register for GST. If you have GST registration or are applicable to register for GST, please submit your GST Registration Certificate and PAN details to us.

On the Shop101 app, click on the Menu Button (three lines on the left top corner of the app). Under earnings, click on the Bank Details button. Add your bank details and attach a photocopy of your passbook and click Submit.

Please recheck your details and ensure they are correct for timely payments of your margins and bonuses.


Search & Share Products

You can search for products in three ways on the Shop101 app - keyword search, image search and product code.

Keyword Search - On the Home Page of the Shop101 app, click on the search bar at the top. Type in the product you are searching for, eg. Sarees or Kurtis. And press Enter. You can also click on the Search Icon (Magnifying Glass) from anywhere in the app and search using keywords.

Image Search - Another unique way to search for something in the app is to use images or pictures. Click on the Search Bar and then the Camera Icon on the top right. Using your phone camera, take a photo of the product that you are searching for. Alternatively, you can also upload an image of your desired product from your phone gallery and press Search. You will be shown either the same or similar products from 20+ catalogs.

Product Code - All our products come with a unique product code on the product image. You can also search by entering the product code into the Search Bar.

The ‘Popular’ Section lists the top products that are currently trending on the app. These products are favourites of our current resellers and are selling well. The ‘Popular’ Section makes it easy for resellers to find and sell items that are already doing well in the market.

At the moment, we do not have the option of adding products from different suppliers to one cart or order. If you want to place an order from multiple suppliers, you will have to place separate orders for each supplier.

In order to learn what to share, you need to understand what your customers are looking for. The best ways our successful resellers understand their customer’s needs are by keeping up to date with the latest trends. With the internet, this becomes super easy.

Tip - Follow Bollywood celebrities in magazines or on their Instagrams to understand what is trending.

You can also make sharing easy by combining your customers into Whatsapp groups or Broadcast Lists that have similar likes. For example, customers who show interest in Ethnic Wear can be combined into one group or list. That way you don’t have to remember individual people and their choices and instead can send your latest products directly to all the people in the group.

There are two ways you can share catalogs on Whatsapp:

Way 1 - Shop101 offers integrated sharing which means you can directly share catalogs and products to Whatsapp. On the app, under the catalog, click on the Share & Earn button. It will automatically open Whatsapp, simply select the person or group you want to share it with. You can also click on the catalog and then click on the Share & Earn Button that is located on the inside.

Way 2 - Another way is by manually downloading the catalog and sharing it. Click on the download button at the bottom of the catalog. Open Whatsapp, select the group or person you want to send it to. Open the Gallery, select the products and click share. Now from the Shop101 App, copy the description of the catalog and go ahead and post it on your Whatsapp Chat.


Find Customers

Here are a few tips to find customers using Whatsapp:

1. Share Multiple Time A Day: Consistency is key. Sharing multiple catalogs and sharing frequently throughout the day can help you get more customers and orders.

2. Keep in Mind Customer Needs: When sharing, it is important to think about your customers. Share with them the type of products they want, if you are unsure you can ask them what type of products they are looking for. Then proceed to share with them similar products.

3. Share with Everyone: Sharing with everyone is important. While you can start with your friends and family, ensure to keep growing your network by including more relatives, friends and even friends of friends. Ask your network to show your products to their family and friends as well.

Social media is a great place to meet new people and grow your business. Here are a few ways where Facebook can help you grow your reselling business.

1. Facebook Wall - Posting on your Facebook wall can help you share your products with your friends, family and also friends of friends. Everyone in your network will be able to see your post and inquire about your products.

2. Facebook Page - Creating a Page for your Business is also a great idea. You can then publish all your catalogs and products on that page and ask your friends to like and share them with their family and friends. It helps grow your network pretty quickly.

3. Facebook Group - Facebook Groups can help you get in touch with like minded people. People who are also sellers and also people who are actually looking for things to buy. This way you have a ready customer network that is actually looking to buy from you.

4. Facebook Marketplace - Marketplace is a great place to help you actually build a network of customers, especially if your family and friend’s circle is limited. People actually come to the Marketplace to look for things to buy.

Here are the steps to create a Facebook page for your Reselling Business.

Step 1 - Login into your Facebook Account or open the Facebook App on your Phone.
Step 2 - Click the three-line Menu button on the right side of the app and then Pages.
Step 3 - Click on the Create button and go through the tutorial.
Step 4 - Name your Page, add the other details and click Submit.
Step 5 - Now share your Page with your friends and family and invite them to like it.

On your Facebook Page, look for the icon that looks like a Store. If you can’t find it on the top of your app, then you can also search for Marketplace using the Search option in the app. If you can’t find Marketplace on either of those places, then you don’t have access to the Facebook Marketplace.

Check the age on your profile, if it is under 18 Marketplace won’t be accessible to you. You can also try to complete your phone verification to get access. If none of this work, directly access https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/ in the browser.


Place Order

On the Shop101 App, select the product that you want to order. Once you select the size or color, then you’ll be forwarded to a screen where you will be asked to ‘Enter Customer Price’. Here you will add the final cost of the product, which will include your Margin.

Your payments are automatically credited to your bank account every Friday by O(1) India Pvt. Limited, after the product has been delivered and the return period is over.

Once you’ve added your product to the cart, you will then be forwarded to the Address Section. After you’ve added the relevant information, you will be asked to make the payment. On the payment page, you can choose the Online Payment option, where you can select your preferred payment method.

On the Shop101 App, select the catalog from which you wish to purchase. In the catalog, select the product that you want, choose the relevant information (such as size or color) and click on the Order Now button.

There are no extra charges for COD orders.


Increase Earnings

Shop101 offers coupons to help resellers get more discounts on products. You can find these coupons on the Shop101 App.

On the payment page, you will be given an ‘Apply Coupon’ box. You can add the coupon code in this box and then click on the ‘Apply Coupon’ button. The coupon will automatically be applied on your order.

Shop101 Credits can be used to avail discounts on your order. These credits can be earned by participating in challenges or offers. (1 credit = ₹1)

Credits can be used when you are paying for the order. Credits will be a certain You will have the option to use a certain percentage of your order.

Shop101 offers a Weekly Bonus Program that awards you for being a dedicated reseller. You can earn bonus on your margins by completing your weekly targets! You can find more information about Shop101’s Weekly Bonus Program by visiting the Menu Button and then Weekly Bonus under the Earn More Section.


Track Orders & Delivery

Once the order has been shipped, you can check the Order section in the Shop101 app. It will have the Track option. The tracking ID is also messaged to you from Shop101 SMS handle MYSHOP.

You can cancel an order only before it has been shipped. To cancel an order, please log into the Shop101 app, under the Orders section, there should be a Cancel option. If the order has been shipped, then you can return the order after it has been delivered. If you want to return an order, log onto the Shop 101 app. Check the Orders section in the app. Once the product is delivered, it will show a Return or Exchange option. Please click on the appropriate option.

A refund is the amount of money if any which was paid at the time of placing the order. This money is credited back to your method of payment if case of cancellation or return.

Manage Payments

Here are the different modes of payments on Shop101:

1. COD (Cash on Delivery)
2. PayTM
3. Online Payment (Net Banking, Debit & Credit Card, Wallets, UPI)

We ask you to update your bank details on our app so that we can send your margin payments and bonuses directly to your bank account. Please add the correct details on the app, to ensure timely payments.

All products listed on the Shop101 app already include GST before they are added onto the app. However, you can rest easy as Shop101 works tirelessly to ensure we get you the best quality products for the best prices.

In order to track your bonus, open the Shop101 app, then click on the menu, and click on Weekly Bonus, then click on the Track Bonus button. It will show you your Bonus and your current progress.
